Marwan Chedid visited India in 2012. Marwan was impressed woth the Petroleum Industry advancement in India and in being the second largest oil refiner in Asia, Marwan stated that India is the technical hub for oil and gas resources in the middle east and can be an oil and gas training hub for the middle east region.
